ThetermcommencedonTuesday4thApril,2022andbythespecialgraceofGod,wewereableto accomplishthefollowing:

?STUDENTSREPRESENTATIVECOUNCIL(SRC)MEETING:ThefirstStudentsRepresentativeCouncil meetingforthetermwasheldonFriday28thJanuary,2022.Themeetingwasinteractiveandimpactful becausestudentsweregiventheaudiencetoexpressthemselves.TheSchoolPrefectsappreciatedthe ManagementofTrainfieldCollegeforallowingthemserveandpromisedtobegoodambassadorsof theschool.

?CAREERDAYCELEBRATION:TheschoolobservedherCareerDayinFebruary,2022.Theeventwas indeedinnovativebecauseProfessionalswereinvitedtogiveexpositoryteachingsinrespecttotheir areaofdisciplines.Invitedspeakersinclude;BarristerJolayemiAjadi(ALawyer)andMrs.Oluwakemi Olabampe(ANurse).Wealsohadinternalspeakers(Mr.AzeezLawal,PhysicsandChemistryteacher andMrPatrickEfekpokpor,TrainfieldCollege,Principal)whogarnishedtheeventwiththeirwealthof knowledgeintheEngineeringandTeachingProfessions,respectively.

?TALENTHUNTSHOW:The2ndtermtalenthuntshowwasextraordinary,colorfulandglamorous.It tookplaceonThursday10thFebruary,2022.OurstudentswereabletodisplaytheirGod-Giventalents throughavarietyofactivities,suchasSpokenWords(Poetry),Songpresentations,Dancingskills, MusicalinstrumentsandDrama.Itwasadaythestudentsandtheteacherswouldneverforgetina hurry.

?MASSCELEBRATION:ThefirstMassCelebrationforsecondtermtookplaceonTuesday8thFebruary,

2022.TheCatholicParishPriestwaspresenttoblessourstudents,theentirestaffandmanagementof TrainfieldSchools.Asithasbeenpartoftheschool'svision,totrainourstudentsinthewayoftheLord. MassCelebrationisoneoftheavenueswehaveadoptedandithasbeenyieldingverygoodand positiveresults,especiallyinthelivesofourstudents.

?PTFMEETING:TheParentsTeachersForumwasheldonSaturday12thFebruary,2022.Themeeting wasthefirstofitskindintheyear2022.Therewasalargeturnoutofbotholdandnewparents.Itwas ahitch-freegathering,indeed.

?SECONDTERM/MOCKEXAMINATIONS:Theexaminationforthesecondterm2021/2022academic yearcommencedTuesday22ndMarch,2022andendedTuesday29thMarch,2022.Theschool's internalexaminationhappenstobethetimesetasidetoevaluateourstudentsandassesstheir performances.

Furthermore,MockExaminationswereconductedforterminalclasses,thatis,JSS3andSSS3whoare preparingforBasicExaminationCertificateCouncil(BECE),NationalExaminationCouncil(NECO)and WestAfricanSecondarySchoolCertificateExamination(WASSCE),respectively. 

?BIENNIALINTER-HOUSESPORTSCOMPETITION:The5theditionofTrainfieldSchoolsBiennialInterHouseSportsCompetitiontookplaceonThursday31^stMarch,2022.TherewerefivedifferentHouses whichinclude;BlueHouse-(Sapphire),GreenHouse-(Emerald),OrangeHouse-(Citrus),PurpleHouse -(Violet),RedHouse-(Ruby).BlueHousecamefrombehindtowin5thposition,GreenHousecame4th, OrangeHousecame2ndRunnerup,PurpleHousewerethe1strunnerupandRedHousewonthe competition.SecondarySchoolsintheenvironmentwerealsoinvitedtogracetheoccasion.Thisyear's Inter-HouseSportsCompetitionwasindeedmind-blowingandcolorful.

?HOLIDAY:TheschoolendedheracademicactivitiesonFriday6^thApril,2022andstudentsareexpected toresumeonMonday25^thApril,2022.

WepraythattheAlmightyGodwillcontinuetoincreasethesourcesofincomeofallouresteemed parentssoastomeettheneedsoftheirchild/childreninallramifications.Amen!
