The 2022/2023 academic session which kick started this first term was vibrant with series of academic and co-curriculum activities. The performances of our students this term was extraordinary as this is evident in their performances both in their Continuous Assessments and Examinations as well as co-curricular activities. These show commitment in our students, as they have demonstrated diligence in their studies. We implore parents not to relent in their efforts from the home front to encourage their ward(s) to study hard when they are at home. Our dear esteemed parents, be rest assured of our commitment to academic and moral excellence.

EXTERNAL EXAMINATION (BECE, WASSCE AND NECO) FOR JSS 3 & SS 3 STUDENTS
Trainfield College recorded 100% pass in the last Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
This Year, our students produced outstanding results in the midst of huge educational changes. We have been really impressed with the resilience and positive attitude of these students who have had to contend with the new tougher questions in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English and Mathematics.
We would also like to pay tribute to our superb staff who have supported the students through all the changes and challenges.

UNIFORMS
Trainfield uniform is her identity! As part of our standards and quality assurance of the school, students are expected to come into school well groomed at all times. On the strength of this, we solicit that parents make conscious effort towards procuring at least two sets of uniforms for their child(ren) at the beginning of every academic year. We enjoin parents of returning students in particular to please check the uniforms of their child(ren)/ward(s) and kindly replace faded, tattered and torn uniforms. Note that children grow at a very fast rate and outgrow their wears too. Furthermore, school shoes are covered black shoes with no heels and white canvas for sports days. The approved socks are plain white socks. Please, only pin ear-rings (small studded) are allowed for girls and well-kept hair cut for the boys.

DISCIPLINE

It is salient to note that we have sustained a comprehensive disciplined atmosphere so far within this term and we wish to build on this. We encourage our parents to continue to partner with the school for a more holistic disciplined atmosphere. We also wish to inform us that to achieve greater result in this regard, the school has extracted from the general school policy document, the disciplinary modus operandi for defaulting students so as not to allow them fall below expectation in this regard.

LATENESS TO SCHOOL

We commend parents' efforts on the slight improvement we noticed in punctuality this term. However, we are equally poised to appeal to parents to do more as some students still come to school very late. This is not encouraging as these students miss all pertinent information/learning carried out on the morning assembly. We must note that learning in the school commences daily from the morning assembly. Please, for the avoidance of doubt and purpose of clarity, the school resumption time is 7:30am daily. We expect students to be in school latest by 7:35am. Lateness to school will amount to such student being sent back home.

SECOND TERM RESUMPTION

The school resumes for second term 2022/2023 academic session on Monday, 9th January, 2023. Parents are to please take note and ensure that their children)/wards are back to school on the above date.
A day off school means missing out on studies for that day. Remember, studies begin on the day of resumption.

SSCE/WASSCE/BECE REGISTRATION

Registration of candidates for SSCE and WASSCE 2023 has commenced. We wish our students good luck as they prepare for the above examinations. In the same vein, we wish to inform our dear parents that registration for (BECE) will commence soon.

SCHOOL FEES

We wish to notify our dear parents that there is a slight increase in tuition fees for JSS2, SSS1 and SSS2. This is as a result of the current hyper-inflation ravaging the country’s economy, where there is a high increase in prices for goods and services eluding the nation’s economy. We equally want to state that in line with the CBN cashless policy, the management of Trainfield Schools once again wishes to inform you that the payment of fees can be done through the following ways:
a) Funds transfer
b) Direct instant platform via individual banks
c) POS in the school
Parents should please ensure that the names of the children/wards and their classes are clearly written on the receipt printout or teller for easy identification. We appeal that parents should always pay up on time to enable us serve them better. The due date for payment of second term 2022/2023 academic session fees is on Monday, 9th January, 2023. No full payment of fees, No entry into the school premises. This is applicable to Transportation, Books, Uniforms and other services rendered by the school. We are grateful to parents who have made complete payment already.
